I upgraded to Qt 5.6 and am now using QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1 (instead of QT_DEVICE_PIXEL_RATIO=2) and I can no longer scroll in a view of a maximized window when my mouse is at the right screen corner. It works neither in Dolphin or Kate (where I can see the view border) nor in System Settings. You might need to simulate this on your maching by using QT_SCALE_FACTOR=2 or QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS=2 Reproducible: Always
Sorry can't test yet because I do not have (yet) Qt-5.6 installed. Will try as soon as I have it.
Confirmed (now that I have brand new Qt-5.7) more soon
This appears to be an upstream Qt bug? I can reproduce with e.g. Fusion and Dolphin, on both low and high DPIs. Can you also reproduce with Fusion?
