Description Rodrigo de Araujo 2016-06-05 13:05:16 UTC
The error I get:

Original message in pt-br: "Não é suportado escrever para baloosearch"
Translation: "It's not supported to write for baloosearch".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I try to copy anything from a folder to another (A file located in Home > Downloads > file.zip to Images folder generates that message and I simply can't copy, even when I am logged as a root.)

2. Error appears
3.

Actual Results:
This only happens when I use Dolphin. Thunar can complete the task without any error, for example.

Expected Results:
It should copy the file I want it to copy without any baloosearch error thing.

I am not familiar with reporting bug system. Sorry if I did any mistake.

Rodrigo,

The error message you mentioned probably means that you can't write into a Baloo search folder. Please make sure you are copying into a regular folder ("Images"?), not into a folder inside a Baloo search folder.

Please clarify what you did to initiate copying, e.g. was it drag'n'drop or Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V?

Alexander,

Thank you for answering.
Actually I am not familiar to Baloo Search Folder.
Anyway, it was a drag n drop attempt.
For some reason I have it working now. Thank you!
