When I try to save with a transparent  it tells me to save with a color. Which transparency was one of the best things I thought krita had.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to save with transparency.


Actual Results:  
it saves with a background.

Expected Results:  
saved with transparancy

Which file format are you using? If it's jpg, no, you cannot save with a transparent background, jpg doesn't support that. If it's png, you need to check the alpha checkbox.
