Description feveal 2016-06-04 22:07:48 UTC
Phonon settings do not select the A2DP Sink option for a bluetooth stereo SRS-BTM8 device, It only allows playback mono.
I think the problem is that you can not disconnect the microphone to free up channels for sound HiFi

Reproducible: Always

I will try to explain. (my English is poor)
These speakers are stereo bluetooth and have microphone to use Skype for example.
In version 14.04 had two possibilities, one set in full duplex mode to talk and listen and another in Stereo mode (can not remember the exact name of the option), this option disabling the mic to listen in high quality mode.
In this version 16.04, although it is possible to select A2DP Sink, has no effect and is only hears Mono, mic input is not deactivated.

Solved

It gives me trouble to say that I managed to set the speakers in A2DP mode.
Instead of selecting the "Audio Video" option that you can not change the profile, I have gone through the "Sound Volume" option in the settings tab I have selected the profile A2DP Sink and it worked perfectly.

No solved.
Audio settings still has problems.
Today when you start the PC did not sound the speaker with the yesterday saved configuration. I changed the HSP mode and has started work. By changing the A2DP mode has become to disable the speaker and and has shown a new window after a while has been closed without any results.
Attached images of the current situation.

Right. So.

The two sections in the settings are two different applications, they both use PulseAudio for the actual hardware integration though. What you are seeing in the video is basically the visual presentation of PulseAudio indicating that the a2dp device is not detected as connected. This can have multiple causes, they are all a level deeper than the KDE software stack though.

Firstly you'll want to make sure that your bluetooth device is properly connected to begin with. If it is I suggest you disconnect, reboot, reconnect and check if that fixes a2dp.
If that is the case, then something went wrong on shutdown while the device is still connected.
If it is not connected, make sure to connect your device first ;)

Regardless this is probably a bug in either PulseAudio or Bluez (the bluetooth support stack), I suggest you file a bug against PulseAudio to help with investigating the ultimate problem here.

On a related note: I think you actually crashed pulseaudio towards the end which is why the second settings module stopped working.

Thank you very much for the help.
I will continue investigating the way you've shown me. When you find the solution I will inform.
If it worked once may run more times, I'll trying different options.
