After a brush stroke, the brush freezes at the end of that brushstroke and don't move for the next one. You loose the brush's position. This is happen with and without OpenGL option Tablet Wacom Intuos 4 - PTK-440 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make a brush stroke 2. lift from the tablet 3. put back the pen on tablet, brush still on the prior position Expected Results: The brush cursor moves with the pen after the strokes
This occurs for me too. System: Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.3 Tablet: Wacom Bamboo To be more specific with this bug, when using the Pen for the Tablet. Krita tracks the pen (when hovering above tablet) correctly at first. If you then start to draw on the canvas (with a brush and the pen touching the tablet) the brush strokes are tracking correctly. As soon as you lift the pen from the tablet and begin hovering above the tablet, the "brush" graphic no longer follows the actual position of the pen. If you move your pen outside of the canvas (to the color picker, menu, layers, etc.,) correct tracking resumes. So if you draw in the canvas, lift up your pen(tracking is lost), move your pen off the canvas (tracking resumes). For further information, the tracking stays lost if you draw with tablet, and then switch to the mouse, the tracking remains lost.

This happens to me too! It's like the computer doesn't track the movements of my stylus whenever it's over the canvas. This makes it nearly impossible to draw anything.
I cannot reproduce this on my Macbook Pro with El Capitan, Krita 3.0 and an Intuos 3. If you have installed Wacom's drivers and settings utilities, could you please attach screenshots of those so I can see what kind of settings there are.
Also, is your tablet in Pen or Mouse Mode?

Created attachment 99580 [details] Screenshot of Mac settings for Wacom Tablet
Have done no other changes to wacom settings besides changing the mapping, and that is it. All other settings are factory install basic. Tablet being used in Pen mode.
Comment on attachment 99580 [details] Screenshot of Mac settings for Wacom Tablet Hm, but that shows the settings for "All other applications", not for Krita, and apparently there are separate settings for Krita? It also looks different from the settings panel I've got, actually.
Created attachment 99581 [details] my settings Note: it's only set to mouse because I was experimenting, it needs to be set to pen. I attach the screenshot to show what the panel on my mac looks like. Could it be possible that there's an updated driver you could download?

Created attachment 99588 [details] Updated settings i actually just updated right before i sent in that screenshot -- and i don't know what you're using, but it's not the latest Wacom panel for the Intuos4, which seems to be the tablet that has the issue here. (i just doublechecked all my wacom stuff, and all of the Wacom program stuff sent me to the same panel as before. Updated picture with the main settings for the pen.) i haven't seen the settings panel you submitted a picture of.

Hm, I'll try to update. The problem is, I only have an Intuos 3 and a Cintiq hybrid companion here, and the Cintiq has never worked with the Macbook Pro.
(In reply to Boudewijn Rempt from comment #14) > Hm, I'll try to update. Thank you :) Well, I removed, downloaded and installed the drivers for the wacom, installed krita 3 again and got the same results. But just to you know, with the krita 2.9 everything works correctly even with OpenGL turned on.
I made a patch so that the tablet works at least as good as the mouse (probably not that great, but better than just freezing). As a workaround for the lag in the meantime, you can try enabling the cursor display in the settings. It follows the cursor without lag even if the brush outline doesn't.
yes, the workaround works here :)
Link to patch: https://phabricator.kde.org/D2005 -- still need to test this.

Hi! I have the same bug. Mac OS X, krita 3.0. if the patch works, i'm not sure how to use it. thanks in advance~
Try to download the latest development build: https://krita.org/en/item/krita-3-0-1-alpha-builds/
I'm having this issue on a cintique 1200W with Krita 3.3.1. I can draw on the screen, but if I lift the pen up heigher than an inch the tracking is lost until I select ot tap the menu or tool bar, and then I can draw again.
