In scene.opengl.cpp kwincompositing is being called using kcmshell5. Warning being sent to it is not shown in the interface. Reproducible: Always
org.kde.kwinCompositingDialog is now split and org.kde.kcmshell_kwincompositing and org.kde.kcmshell_kwineffects
This issue report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with KDE 5.23?
