Description Jens 2016-05-29 12:41:09 UTC
Muon notified me to update system files.
When opening the window the tree of files to updates appeared for about half a second and muon switched to screen update (this rotating circle).
After restating Kubuntu the same thing happened. So I blindly pressed the update button.
It seems as if the system update process ended successfully but then muon switched again to this update screen and not showing the usual success message.
After ending and starting muon manually again the program does not start now.
After a second try to start muon started and show briefly (half a second again) the success message but switched again to this screen update window (rotating circle on white background).
So, for being sure I could reproduce the last step again and again and again ...

What can I do?

Please be lenient if this might have been already reported. I'm still not firm with all this technical stuff as I'm quite new to Kubuntu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
(see above)

Actual Results:
(see above)

Expected Results:
a finishing display update and any kind of result

Muon-Aktualisierungsverwaltung (I presume this is to translate to Muon Update Center or so)

Can you check again if it works? We've had some issues in our OCS servers.
Comment 2 Jens 2016-05-31 13:43:51 UTC
Yes, it works again! :-))
Thank you very much. What ever you did it helped.
Strange though without an update ?!? What was wrong – if I may ask?

This file changed:
http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.xml

I've fixed it so that such a problem won't happen again, but it's not possible for me to fix deprecated software.

Glad the fix worked :)
