Created attachment 99215 [details] Screenshot showing Chromium icon inconsistency A while back the Chromium browser icon was revamped to be much brighter and fit within Google's material design style. https://www.chromium.org/_/rsrc/1438879449147/config/customLogo.gif?revision=3 It's displayed in chrome://help/ and on https://www.chromium.org/ On my Plasma 5.6 desktop I'm seeing the new icon on the top left title bar of my Chromium windows (I believe it's using it from the HiColor theme) while in the Plasma task manager, application launcher and krunner all show the old icon (from Breeze, I believe). The inconsistency looks a bit odd and I think it makes sense for Breeze to update to the newer bright icon.
we have only one icon in the breeze repos so the brighter one should look like it come from the application itself.
Yes it does come from Chromium itself, as Justin says. I agree with Justin - remove the Chromium icon. We do not ship an icon for Chrome or Firefox or Opera, there's no reason why we should ship an old version of Chromium icon, imo.
