Description austinmellbourne 2016-05-26 02:09:08 UTC
I've been trying to work on an existing .PSD created in SAI, but every time i make a brush stroke it closes the program less than a second after with no error. I've tried changing between integrated or dedicated graphics cards, and tried with and without openGL on both, as well I have done all of that before AND after updating drivers for the cards.

It doesn't do this if I make a new file. I also tried re-saving the PSD to a krita file and no luck. I would love to finish some old pieces in krita with all the cool brushes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Krita
2. Open existing art file (PSD or Krita file)
3. Make brush stroke

Actual Results:
Program closes

Hi Austin,

Could you please attach the PSD file so we can check what's up with it?

We're also really close to releasing 3.0, so maybe it's a good idea to check with the latest development build as well: http://files.kde.org/krita/3/windows/devbuilds/krita-3.0-RC-1-master-76608ad-x64.zip or http://files.kde.org/krita/3/windows/devbuilds/krita-3.0-RC-1-master-76608ad-x86.zip .

Without a sample file we cannot fix this issue. It's likely that SAI creates weird PSD files... Please reopen if you can still reproduce with 3.0 and can give us a sample file.
