I recently added the kdenlive-master repository to my system. I upgraded kdenlive to the latest version. I went through the set up wizard, after completing, Kdenlive loads but gradually everything is deleted from the user directory I have in my home partition. Fortunately everything was backed up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. get kdenlive-master repository 2. start kdenlive 3. Question "Project Directory /home/XXXX/kdenlive does not exist. Create it? Select "no" 4. Document project folder is invalid, setting it to the default one: /home/XXXX/kdenlive 5. 100s of gbs of files are deleted. Actual Results: All my files are deleted Expected Results: Edit videos.
Version 16.07.70
I didn't believe is could be Kdenlive, but it happened twice.
