In the left panel there are two boxes: "Meta Information" and "Semantic Information". I use to have a lot of useful information in the first one (Date and Time, Exposure Time, FNumber, ISO, etc.) but absolutely nothing in the "Semantic" one. Though, they each use about half the available height. See the URL, a screenshot of Fedora Magazine, which shows the "problem". It would be nice if: - we could hide the "Semantic Information" panel completely; and/or - we could reduce it to a minimal size; and/or - the "Semantic Information" panel would be resized automatically according to the space required by "Meta Information" (and vice versa, I guess). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A Gwenview version 15.08.3 on Debian GNU/Linux testing (stretch).
Semantic information has ratings and comments, which are important, so we can't hide it entirely. But yeah, that comments box is huge. We could definitely allow you to resize the separator, or just make the comments box much smaller.
Oop, this was already reported: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=332921 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 332921 ***
