Thanks for the very piece of software that is Zanshin! I have a suggestion: it would be nice of have an overall view of the tasks to help find and manage many tasks at once. This view should not be the default one of course (to stay consistent with the "zero inbox" philosophy of Zanshin), but can be handy in several occasions.
I'm not sure I see which kind of overview you have in mind. My imagination might be lacking. Care to give a bit more details?
Sure. Right now in Zanshin you have: - Inbox: all tasks that were not assigned to a project or a context - Workday: All tasks for today and then "Projects" and "Contexts" I was thinking a nice addition to the Inbox and Workday view would be something like "All" where all tasks are shown independently from their Projects and Contexts. It helps to show "what is out there" without going into all projects and contexts. This is not a central feature, but I think an occasionally useful one (and probably easy to implement).
OK, I see. Doable indeed. Would include the content of the Inbox as well? Or you'd leave it out?
I would include it. Doesn't really make sense to me to exclude it, or at least, I don't see the point right now.
OK, looks like a legit need. We'll see if we can get it in for 0.5.
I doubt it'll make it in 0.5 which has higher priority items (one of them being an enabler for that request in fact). Still I forgot to mark that one confirmed back then, doing it.
I confirm it won't make it in 0.5, contemplating it for the 0.6 roadmap though.
