When I open the widget explorer and then click on the desktop it will close. The next time I try to open it the explorer will close itself. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click the top left button 2. click add widgets 3. click the destop 4. repeat Actual Results: The widget creator will close itself. Expected Results: The widget creator will stay open. openSUSE Tumbleweed (20160512) (x86_64) Plasma 5.6.3 KDE 5.21.0 Qt 5.5.1 Kernel 4.5.3-1-default
I meant widget explorer not widget creator. I can't edit the previous comment.
Are you using focus follows mouse or something like that?
I don't think so. Where can I check?
System settings - window behavior somewhere there but if you don't know about that setting you're probably not using it :)
With plasma 5.6.4 and kde 5.22.0 the problem changed. 1. click the top left button 2. click add widgets 3. click the desktop Now when I try to select 'add widgets' the sidebar doesn't even appear momentarily. Right clicking on the desktop and choosing 'add widgets' works still.
I can reproduce the issue. It's probably when I click, I tell the widget explorer to open, but then the still briefly open menu steals focus and widget explorer closes right away.
