Description Park 2016-05-14 15:55:11 UTC
After adding new entries or re-ordering items, the KDE desktop menu does not order items as directed. Items in the menu remain alphabetical with folder at the top and individual entries at the bottom. Separators do not appear.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Add new menu item
2.Click Save
3.Open Desktop menu

Actual Results:
Menu entries remain in alphabetical order

Expected Results:
Menu items should reflect order in KDE Menu Editor

KDE Plasma Version: 5.5.5
QT Version: 5.5.1
Kernal Version: 4.4.0-22-generic
Comment 1 Allen W. Jones 2016-06-24 20:42:04 UTC
kmenuedit version 5.5.5
KDE Frameworks 5.18.0
Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1)
The xcb windowing system

This behavior is still present in Kubuntu 16.04

Thanks for the report Park/Allen.

I can't reproduce this issue on kmenuedit from git master.

Can you please confirm if this issue can be resolved or if the problem persists, thanks.
