Created attachment 98884 [details] [ ^ gif-animation of the bug : while drawing, my bottom-bar is a disco! ] Hi, In 3.0beta a progress bar appears at each brush stroke with the label "Freehand Brush Stroke" ( It wasn't happening in 2.9.x ). I understand the purpose of this new feature and it's useful when a user paint a complex and large stroke and need a feedback about how Krita 'digest' it. But for small stroke ( sketching ), this progress bar just blink ( see the gif-animation in attachement ) and is annoying. Is it possible to skip displaying it for quick brush stroke ?
You can already disable progress reporting in the settings, that even gives a bit of performance improvement.
Hi Boud, thank you. Yes, Wolthera told me about the : >> Settings > Performances > and Uncheck 'Enable Progress Reporting' This is perfect. I turn this bug report to 'resolved invalid' because the option to turn it off exists , so it's not really a problem or a broken feature. It's a preference.
