after rename file (or folder) system try open file with old filename

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create file (or folder) in desktop
2. rename
3. try open

Actual Results:  
system try open file with old filename

Expected Results:  
correct open file with new filename

The issue exists also in neon-devedition-gitstable-20160510-1302.
Uses the system by someone other than me? :-)

Can you confirm this only happens when the location is set to "Show the desktop folder"? I think this is actually a bug in the desktop:// KIO plugin rather than the widget.

The problem is only in the desktop in mode "Show the desktop folder". Folder plugin is OK.

temporary workaround:
 - right click on desktop
 - select 'folder view settings' in menu
 - select location tab
 - select 'specify a folder'
 - find your desktop folder in input box 'Type a path...'

I'm seeing the same behavior on Fedora 23.  Fully updated and rebooted as of this morning.

Looks like another KDirNotify issue in conjunction with desktop KIO. If you rename the file on any other location it works fine. On desktop it also works fine but you have to wait half a second (the rescan interval of KDirModel)
