Installed: knotes 4:15.12.3-0ubuntu amd64 on kubuntu 16.04, but the crash happens since several KDE versions now (maybe starting with KDE5?). I am using knotes, letting it display one note in the left top corner of the screen all the time. When logging out of KDE (or on shutdown. => when closing my session) a crash report window shows up, telling me that knotes did crash. This is a little bit annoying as it does not look good and especially delays the logout/shutdown process for some seconds. If I hide (close) the knote windows before logout, the crash does not occur. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Well in my case: 1. run knotes 2. open a note and write something in it 3. keep the window open 4. log out of KDE Actual Results: The crash window occurs Expected Results: The crash window should not occur ;)
Oh, one additional note: Because the crash report window automatically vanishes after some seconds, I cannot generate a backtrace. If there is any way to get more information, please tell me.
