Description michaelweber 2016-05-05 05:38:27 UTC
Words that I learned the day before from level 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, and 6-7 are asked again although that should not happen until the period specified has passed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Version 1.1.1
Unter KDE 4.14.5; German
2. For editing, use colums "German" and "Latin" only.
3. Do not change standard settings for "block vocabulary" (practice setup > blocking)
4. edit the collection and afterwards practice what has been edited, checking lesson boxes for previously entered lessons as well
5. edit again, practice again, etc. - (4-5 in short: don't wait with practice till all vocabulary has been entered)

Actual Results:
The blocking vocabulary guidelines are not followed, I get asked words that should be blocked.

Expected Results:
It should have waited with the word for anything from 2 days to two months .

I can confirm this grave bug for version 16.08.3.

The same vocabularies are asked again every time I start parley, not matter what level they are in. But all of them should be blocked for weeks or months as they are in high level. Other vocabularies are never asked until they drop to the unknown-level.

This is because in recent versions of Parley, in addition to the 7 confidence levels there are 7 "pre-confidence" or "early learning" levels to go through. The blocking parameters only start to work once you get through the early learning stage. To be honest, this confused me at first as well, and I personally think that 7 early learning stages is too many.
