Description Kethen Chui 2016-05-05 01:23:48 UTC
Previews are being stretched into square. Such problem does not exist in dolphin. Screenshot will be attached.

Running a fresh installation of ubuntu 16.04

Should not be related but I'm currently using xrender mode for compositor since intel opengl drivers are not quite ready for kde on a low power laptop.

Problem exists in both desktop folder view layout and folder view widget.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change desktop layout to folder view or create a folder view widget
2. Enable preview for images
3. Place an image in the folder view's target directory

Actual Results:
Preview icons are stretched into square

Expected Results:
Preview icons displays properly like in dolphin
