Please see the video (URL) for a short (<1 minute) video on my problem. Basically, for some reason, the canvas will become stuck to the top of the screen, and moving the canvas scrollbars, or using the Move Tool, will not cause the canvas to move (technically it will, but it will immediately snap back to its previous position - notice the flashes of the canvas in a new updated position before returning to where it was in the video). I have seen this behaviour a couple of times in Krita 3.0 Beta (AppImage), and as far as I can tell it has happened randomly. I haven't hunted down a tried and proven method to reproduce this behaviour. Reproducible: Didn't try Using the Krita 3.0 Beta AppImage provided via krita.org: * Filename: ./krita3-beta1-db1ca07-x86_64.appimage * Size: 90505216 * md5sum: 376b2b7c4a76b1fc59175e40937000ab
Created attachment 98767 [details] stdout of the AppImage process Just remembered that I do i fact have a log of things that happened. Please note that I was using the program normally (painting) prior to this bug occurring.
This probably has something to do with a stroke not ending, causing the scrollbars to scroll down indefinitely. Does this only happen with the move and transform tools?
As far as I can tell, yes.
Thanks, then I know which bug this is :)
Hi Does it's also exists in Krita v2.9.11 or does it's a regression in v3.0 ?

Chiming in and confirming that I experience this issue too. OS: Windows Version: Krita 3.1.2 Hardware: Intuos CTH-480 This happens on any layer (vector, raster, etc.), but only happens when I use my stylus on my wacom tablet. This does not happen when I use a mouse or a touchpad. It happens when I select the Transform Tool, then hover the cursor just at the edge of the edit window, and when it starts moving, I then click on something past that edge (ex. something on a docked window). This immediately causes the entire canvas to scroll continuously, until a slightly darker border appears. clicking on this border extends the image canvas. Attempting to reposition the canvas fails. Workaround: select another tool (brush, etc.), then select the transform tool again.

I am pretty sure I fixed this in Krita 4.0. Let us know if this is still happening. It happened much more frequently in Windows and that what I was testing for this infinite scroll issue.
Yeah, I wonder why I haven't been seeing this bug recently. It was a major issue to me in the past. Thank you Scott for fixing this! :D
