Description ArtsyCosmicDreamer 2016-05-04 00:01:36 UTC
The brush tool seems to be nonexistent with my Tablet, and I'm forced to use my pen most of the time when drawing. I tried disabling OpenGl, and I still had the same problem. Although the other tools work and are fully functional.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Krita
2.Go on the brush icon
3.Use Tablet pen

Actual Results:
My drawings and sketches would not show up on the screen by using the brush.

Expected Results:
The brush tool should have been functional and my drawings and sketches should have been present.

Whenever I'm drawing, the program will sometimes switch from my current tool to a tool I used earlier which makes the drawing process time consuming and infuriating.

Hi,

Which version of Windows, which tablet, which driver version and which GPU and driver do you have?

Windows Spectre 360x with the touch screen on the computer and a touch
pen. I have the latest version of Intel and the driver for the GPU is AMD
A10-7850k.

If the other tools work, this doesn't sound like a tablet or OpenGL issue. Does the dynamic brush tool work? that is very similar to the freehand brush tool.

Could you make a tablet log as explained here: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Tablets

Oh I am terribly sorry. There was not a glitch, my brush presets just
wasn't on!
Oops!
I am terribly sorry for wasting your time.

Hello,

please find the section "What if your Tablet is not recognized by krita?" on this page: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Tablets

Then follow the instructions and attach the generated DebugView output to this bug report.

Thank you!

Erm, why did I think you were using a wacom-stylus. If you're using one of those touch styluses that imitate a finger -- then, no, that's not supported at the moment.
