Description Christian Krippendorf 2016-05-03 17:53:02 UTC
I got a 2560x1440 monitor with a docking station for a T540p laptop which got the same resolution setted by randr. After moveing the laptop away from my docking station and connecting it again, the desktop icons (the second column) moved one position down. The first column stays the same. The switch will be automatically done by scripts triggered from an acpi event. The code just run xrandr commands.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Move connected laptop from docking station.
2. Connect it again.
3. See moveing icons on desktop.

Actual Results:
I make widgets moveable, remove the 'icons locked' check and reposition them on the desktop.

Expected Results:
All icons should just stay on the same position as before.

Current updated ArchLinux system from today.

Cannot reproduce this error anymore with current system, so I would vote for closing this bug.
