When I open Krita theres always an initial prompt that asks if I wish to recover autosaved projects on which I was working in the past. The drawings mostly are of sketches that I was working on when my computer crashed (for other reasons) and hence krita kept them saved. So when I open krita it gives me the option of recovering this past files but when I specifically mark them for deletion it doesnt do it and just keeps them saved. In time its built up a large amount of files that just stay stuck in the program and when I click the recovery option Krita opens a lot of tabs as it recovers all of the projects. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Work on a project and let krita autosave said image 2.Close Krita suddenly without clicking on the save or dont save options 3.Open the program and see the recovered images already there 4. Attempt to get rid of said images by marking them for deletion 5. Close program 6. Open program and note that files haveyet to be discarded and are still there Actual Results: Images remained autosaved and krita failed to delete them as it once again asked me if I wanted to open them all or discard them. Expected Results: Delete the previously autosaved projects I marked to for deletion.
does this happen in 3.0 as well? If not, you can manually delete them. They should be in the windows temp folder. Do give a holler, then we know that both don't work.
oh yeah, setting this to needs info.
Please reopen if you can reproduce with 3.0.
