kipi-plugins -> 5.0.0_beta6-1
libkipi -> 16.04.0-1
exiv2 -> 0.25-1
libkexiv2 -> 16.04.0-2
libkexiv2_4 -> 15.08.3-2

Comment 1 Knut Hildebrandt 2016-08-10 06:24:46 UTC
Still the same, even though gwenview and kipi-plugins got various updates.

The versions now are:

gwenview -> 16.04.3-1
kipi-plugins -> 5.1.0-1
libkipi -> 16.04.3-1
exiv2 -> 0.25-1
libkexiv2 -> 16.04.3-1
libkexiv2_4 -> 15.08.3-2
KDE Frameworks 5.24.0
Qt 5.7.0

Interestingly, in digikam the metadata dialogue can be evoked.

It all depends on what plugins you have installed. Default settings would be controlled by your distro. If I install kipi-plugins in Kubuntu 17.04, the menu becomes populated with a zillion plugins.
