Description Adam Martinez 2016-05-03 02:40:45 UTC
I'm trying Krita, but it doesn't seem to recognize my Hanvon GraphicPal 0504 as a tablet. It notices the cursor, but the only way I can draw in it is if I've clicked outside of the window then clicked back into Krita, and even then, it's not really controllable and only temporary.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plug in Hanvon GraphicPal 0504.
2. Open Krita.
3. Attempt to draw in Krita using tablet.

Actual Results:
The tablet wasn't recognized except after clicking away.

Expected Results:
I should've been able to draw in Krita with my tablet, complete with pressure sensitivity support.

The tablet model appear to be somewhat old.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your report. Unfortunately, we don't have the hardware to test with, which makes it really hard to implement support for this tablet. Could you try to generate a tablet following https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Windows using the latest development build (http://files.kde.org/krita/3/windows/devbuilds/)?

I've followed the instructions on the Krita website and generated a tablet log. I put it up on Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9eeBgPwiaieS085cHhJQ1NrNkU/view?usp=sharing).

By clicking away, do you mean you have to go to another application, then to krita again, and then it works? The tablet log looks fine to me.

Can you still reproduce the bug with Krita 3.0?
Comment 8 Raghavendra kamath 2018-06-11 04:33:50 UTC
Can you please check if you are still able to reproduce this issue with Krita 4.0

For now due to lack of response I am closing this issue,
if you think that you can reproduce the issue in the latest version Krita,

please feel free to re-open this issue

thank you
