We use dolphin4 in xubuntu but we can not upgrade to 16.4 because there are no tool tips in dolphin4 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. hower mouse cursor over the icons 2. 3. Actual Results: no too tips (meta data, exif data's) Expected Results: pop up showing picture information (exif data's)
Is the "Show tooltip" checkbox checked in General -> Behavior tab? (from the Dolphin settings dialog)

For pdf previews, make sure you install kdegraphics-thumbnailers
