Description slartibart70 2016-05-02 09:32:31 UTC
Please re-enable the 'run command / Alt-F2' window to be either 'top of screen' or 'floating'.
Top of screen is nice, but i (maybe others) prefer different positioning.
Any chance to have this kde4-feature back?

Reproducible: Always

The feature per se still exists but it's not exposed to the UI and not really tested, if you add FreeFloating=true to your ~/.config/krunnerrc (I think, I would have to look up the exact config key) it should show up in the middle of the screen.

Thanks for the info!
I tried - and it works well. I haven't found any problems yet.
Can you share some of the reasons why this feature is disabled by default?

any updates to this?
Still no option to configure in plasma 5.8

it is much more important to bring back the down-arrow.

it was a crime to do that.
