Since dolphin has the ability to share an owncloud link, it would be quite interesting to have this ability in Spectacle, too. Saying in more concrete: You take a screenshot and could "upload" it with one click into a specific owncloud folder and then the public link is displayed or copied to the clipboard. The uploading and sharing part could be done with the sync client I think. Reproducible: Always
Hi Aleix, Could you take a stab at making a libPurpose plugin for ownCloud, when you have some free time? I'll be glad to help (or even do it), but I'm busy with college for the next few weeks.
I can look into that. If somebody can point me out to which API it should integrate and provide a test system, it will make the task much simpler. I guess I can use share.kde.org.
The dolphin specific code of the sync client is here: https://github.com/owncloud/client/tree/d7bd1300a8397c2782e8d75cf7c595b1ada70d88/shell_integration/dolphin Don't know if this helps someway. The relevant sharing part seems to be in ownclouddolphinactionplugin.cpp. For uploading simply storing the file in the owncloud folder should be enough.
Is there any change in this? I recently discovered "Nextcloud" within the list of exports in Spectacle, but got not very far in setting in up.
Assigned but no action since, removing.
