Super cool that these two timeline removal functions are now available! But the one in the menu that says "Extract timeline zone" doesn't have a keyboard shortcut next to it. Can I ask that the keyboard shortcut be added like the other functions so the user will know which keyboard key to use to call on this function in the timeline? Reproducible: Always Requested using Kdenlive git-master from the kdenlive-master ppa on Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 x64.
Yes, it's just that I don't know which default shortcut to use. Other apps seem to use 'X', but this is currently assigned to the razor tool. We anyways won't be able to assign shortcuts to every function, users can customize their preferred shortcuts. I would prefer if we discuss this matter with Massimo and TheDiveo, so I am closing this bug and forwarding the question to the related Phabricator task: https://phabricator.kde.org/T1961
You got it sir!
And of course you are welcome to join the discussion on phabricator (you need an account from identity.kde.org)
Thanks sir. :) I'll definitely join in on the discussions on phabricator. Looks like in the latest git logs you all chose Shift+x for the extract keyboard shortcut. I think that's great!
