Sometimes it's impossible to assign a tag to a brush. If I f.e. want to add some of the deevad bundle brushes to my favourites, I can do that only with some of them. So, some brushes are added to my favs. and some are not. If I make a duplicate of the brush which was not assigned with the tag, that doesn't help either. BUT - after some weird manipulations like double clicking, closing/opening brush presets etc, I can finally get them assigned. It's a bit disturbing especially if I don't understand why it happens and why it doesn't happen next time.
confirmed.
The same issue happens on my windows 8.1 (3.0 beta git 25ecbaf)
I have this same bug. I am unable to tag most brushes. Strangely I can tag a few... 3 or 4 and then it stops working entirely (tags stop applying). I have deleted my Krita resources folder and started from scratch and the same thing happens. This means I cannot configure the right click brush menu to contain any more than 3 or 4 brushes, the rest stay blank. Also, when deleting my resources (resetting krita) there is no default "Favorite Presets" like there used to be, its all blank. Windows 10 / Krita 3.0 (f0cbffc)
Hi! Try assigning brush tags from All Presets, not from particular one. This works for me:) Sometimes you need to try assigning some times although. Definitely bug it is! But you can still manage our brush tags and right click wheel.
The bug still annoys me:-( Something must be done! Assigning brush tags from All Presents works in 1 out of 10 cases. Sometimes I have to restart Krita many times to get the job done.
"Something must be done". Please do it, then. I've fixed 18 bugs this week, but there are a few hundred open bugs that need to be fixed and a hundred things besides that must be done, sometimes before a certain deadline, like taxes.
Dear Boudewijn, I didn't mean to offend you. However, you're one of the developers of the great painting application, and I think you got used to non-coding users (like me) saying sometimes, well, something really stupid. If not, you're going to. The greater Krita becomes the more such questions and bug reports you will get because users do care. I wish I could code and contribute with a patch, but the only thing I can do at the moment is to support you on Kickstarter and to advertise Krita among cg artists. I wrote what I wrote because the bug affects me and other users, and I hadn't got any response from the developers until this day, so I couldn't get it right if it's something wrong with me, or KDE, or Krita, or something else. So I decided to up my thread. Just in case. I might have got anything like "Hey, it has already been done! Update this and that". Nope, I've got a response from the exhausted developer instead. Well, anyway I can see how unimportant my bug really is, and that it's everything OK with me and KDE, and whatever.
