The original poster's comments are a little unclear, but I think I also see this bug (running Kubuntu 16.04 LTS 64-bit: application discover/discover, version 5.6.2, Linux (x86_64) release 4.4.0-21-generic). In the carousel at the top of the home screen, a number of programs are shown, along with their descriptions. The descriptive text is correctly placed vertically, but horizontally it overflows its bounding box and extends a long way to the right. This makes it difficult to read and it also interferes with the description of the item to the right.
