When I bring the Yakuake window, its icon sometimes appears in taskbar. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press hotkey to toggle Yakuake(maybe several times) Actual Results: Yakuake icon is shown in taskbar Expected Results: Yakuake icon shouldn't be shown in taskbar
I'd noticed this a few times in the past too, but not (yet) since updating to plasma-5.6.2.
I continue to notice it on 5.6.3
Noticed this today. Archlinux, Yakuake 3.0.2 Using: - KDE Frameworks 5.21.0 - Qt 5.6.0 (built against 5.6.0) - The xcb windowing system
Three different installations of Kubuntu, freshly upgraded to 16.10, happening on all of them. Yakuake 3.0.2 At least there is a very easy workaround: 1) System Settings - Window Management - Window Rules - New 2) Window matching: Window class (application): Exact Match - Yakuake 3) Arrangement & Access: Skip taskbar - Force - Yes
Probably a duplicate of bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343061, I also experience this issue on openSUSE Tumbleweed with Yakuake 3.0.2, Plasma 5.8.2, Frameworks 5.27.0 and Qt 5.7.0.

It's still there. I think this issue affects "Keep window above" option indirectly. - KDE Neon - KDE Plasma 5.20.0 - Yakuake 20.08.2
