Drag & drop of links from Chromium seems to get corrupted at some point. Also tested: - Drag and drop Chromium links to other Qt5 application (pcmanfm-qt): works fine - Drag and drop directory from pcmanfm-qt: works as expected (error that it's not a torrent file, with the full correct path name) - Drag and drop Chromium links to other KF5 application (Konversation): works fine It seems only the specific combination of Chromium to KTorrent fails. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open http://www.kubuntu.org/getkubuntu/ in Chromium. 2. Drag "14.04 image, 64bit" BitTorrent link to KTorrent. Actual Results: Got errors: "Malformed URL %001%004%00.%000%004%00 %00i%00m%00a%00g%00e%00,%00 %006%004%00b%00i%00t." and "Malformed URL ." Expected Results: Prompt to start download of torrent file. This worked fine in 4.3.1.
