It is pidgin`s ***SUB*** window, such as chat group window, ***NOT*** the main pidgin window, taskmanager is able to render correctly for main window!
Please provide a better screenshot, I can't understand the one on Twitter (blurry mess, don't know what I am seeing).
Hi Eike, When I logout/relogin, the taskmanager is able to render Gtk-based applications ;-) so it can not reproduced any more!

Hi Eike, It is my pleasure ;-) Please have a look at this https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361752 it is also panel relative issue: removed the default panel then added a new one on the top, I have no idea why the position is not on the bottom, the whole Desktop Environment freeze (hang) ;-(
I'm not able to reproduce this issue with the very same apps in Plasma 5.11.4. Are you?
