Description Daniel Bauer 2016-04-03 09:00:12 UTC
When I drag a thumbnail in the album view to another folder (mostly to a subfolder of the shown one), chosing "move" ("verschieben") *sometimes* - often... - the image gets copied to the destination folder but not removed from the original folder.

When I drag and drop it again, the message "... already exists... overwrite..." appears. I choose overwrite and then in most cases the original gets deleted/disappears from original folder. But not always... Sometimes it takes up to 4 times I have to drag/drop until the original gets deleted...

This bug exists since several digikam versions.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have an album with 150 images, make a subfolder
2. Select one or more images
3. drag the selection to the subfolder
4. chose "move" ("verschieben")

The described behaviour occurs in approx. 2 of 3 times.

Actual Results:
Original image is not deleted/removed from current album, but copied to the destination.

Expected Results:
Image should be moved (appear in destination, disappear in origin)

4.6.0 is very old. Last stable is 4.14.0 with a huge list of fix, including certainly this one.

Please update urgently.

With digiKam 5.0.0 this problem is not reproducible.
I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary.
