It seems that opening the application menu then dragging a taskbar entry into the favorites makes plasma freeze then crash.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open application menu
2. Drag any taskbar entry into favorites

Actual Results:  
Plasma freezes then crashes

Expected Results:  
Not freeze

I wasn't able to reproduce this in 5.12, so I'd say just close this one
