I would like to have History menu first, followed by Favorites. Would it be nice to be able to drag and drop to change their position? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click on a Favorites menu 2.Drag it to change its place 3. Actual Results: Have your own menu order Expected Results: Have your own menu order
Being able to reorganize a menu structure would be a nice feature to have. However, allowing drag and drop during regular use is likely to lead to lots of accidental reordering of menus, so if we implement this, we'd have to do it in a way that users explicitly switch to am "editing mode". This could be another aspect of a general "Plasma editing mode", however.
I just submitted a Review Request for this issue at https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/128402/ I would appreciate your feedback and comments
You can change the order of the menu entries now, by right-clicking and bringing up the settings of the (kickoff) launcher. It doesn't work with drag and drop, though.
Marking as fixed. You can drag and re-arrange in the config dialog, we opted against drag and drop in the main UI as that would be hard to discover while also easily be done accidentally.
This is awesome, thanks! Next is smaller icons in favorites list or no icons, just list ;)
