Description L D Scheman 2016-03-28 07:45:29 UTC
Windows 10 WNT (i686) release Windows 6.2 on Lenovo Yoga 2. Has worked fine. Now get this message for EACH STOCK SYMBOL LOOKUP -- "The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly. Unable to update price for XXXX <stock symbol (empty quote data)." Previously cycled through each stock symbol and updated price. (??Only thing that changed on PC was that Windows updates has been applied - 3/13/16 KB3144756, 3/23/16 KB3140741 ??)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load KMYMONEY for Windows on PC running up to date Windows 10,
2. Use data file containing investments with valid symbols for Yahoo Price updates
3. Choose TOOLS > Update Stock & Currency Prices > Update All (Note: Updating Selected individually gives same error result)

Actual Results:
Got the error message described in first problem description

Expected Results:
Usually cycles through each investment in the data file and updates each investment based on the symbol entered for each investment. Used to work smoothly and quickly.

The question is which quote source the original poster uses. In case it was Yahoo, then it won't work anymore.

@HJH: Please see #386462 that Yahoo shutdown the services and find possible workarounds in that bug entry.

Sehr geehrter Herr Baumgart,

URL: https://finance.google.com/finance?q=%1
Symbol: %1
Preis: \s+content="((\d+|\d{1,3}(?:[,]\d{3})).\d+)
Datum: \s+content="(\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2})T
Datumsformat: %y-%m-%d
