Description MuStArt 2016-03-27 01:18:14 UTC
There are only 3 orber by possibilities: file name, date and size.
My photo files looks like 13c12A_d9594 tanitlak_1M.jpg , 13c13G_e3754_1m.jpg , 10126Pecs_d5560.jpg , 10130Pecs_d5599.jpg when browse them by name!
How on Earth could be this? In Krusader, file name ordering by name is good anyway.
GwenView v2.8.5 (KDE: 4.8.5)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open jpg file with Gwenview
2. browse them with Order by: File name

Actual Results:
Always occurs, only this 4 files in directory as the given names stand in a mixed way mentioned above.

Expected Results:
10126*,10130*,13c12*,13c13*

It would be good idea adding more sorting options, like other file manager programs, e.g. natural, alphanumerical as numbers, or shooting exif date as well.

I can confirm this. The sort order in Dolphin is different than Gwenview. Must be the same, when I open an image and slide to next in Gwenview, it must be the next in the same order than Dolphin shows (order by name).

This bug doesn't exists in KDE4
