In detailed mode, if I add a column to view the ratings for files/folders, all the ratings are displayed the same (by default 5 black stars). This is visible on this capture: http://imgur.com/yIrOOOX where a 4 stars rated image is sees its rating correctly displayed in Dolphin's right info panel, also correctly in Gwenview, but not in the "ratings" column in dolphin. This bug exists since the migration to Plasma 5 and I also saw it in resent Neon builds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start Dolphin, find a folder with a file. 2. add the "info" right panel with F11 3. rate the file (let's say 4 stars) in the "info" panel 4. select "details view mode" and right click the header to add the "ratings" column Actual Results: all ratings are the same (black stars) Expected Results: the rated file should have 4 yellow stars and one black This bug is important because it prevent you to visualize at once in a directory which files are rated and which are not.
Has been fixed in 16.04.0 with the following commit: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=dolphin.git&a=commit&h=35b35d0c5f62641a685282d25ea204e7004e09c0
