When cropping the edges of a clip in the timeline, it'd be nice to have the ability to feather/blur the edges (independently if possible: feather left edge, feather right edge, feather top edge, etc.). I was working on a project where this feature would have been very helpful.

Suggested while using Kdenlive git master build 16.07.70 on Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 beta 2 x64, Gnome 3.18 desktop environment, KDE Frameworks 15.18.0.

This is an upstream issue, affecting the source of the cropping effect, which is either MLT or frei0r. Please report with these projects. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
