The only difference between the two icons is the one's red and the other's black. Please make the muted icon have an X instead of the two waves or something else to make it obvious it means "muted", especially when used in a rather detached context as a mute button in the audio settings. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Audi Volume settings 2. Go to "Output Devices" 3. Actual Results: There's a button with a red volume icon on the right Expected Results: There's a button with an obvious *muted* volume icon
Agreed. Never use color as the only indicator of something.
