Description Gregor Mi 2016-03-24 19:45:38 UTC
Currently, in the trash view it is not possible to see when a certain file was deleted. See also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153492

For me too it´s an important issue to see when the file, folder was deleted and to get the trash view sorted by this date and not by the date the respective object was created (this option is available in the MS Windows file manager Windows Explorer...
Its more than two years that Gregor Mi adverted to this shortcoming and nothing happened, not even a confirmation was given.
What is the problem with?

Dear Gregor
for me too it´s an important issue to see when the file, folder was deleted and to get the trash view sorted by this date and not by the date the respective object was created.
Its more than two years that you adverted to this shortcoming and nothing happened, not even a confirmation was given.
Did you receive any reaction?

Hello Josef,

thanks for confirming that there is one more user (you) who is interested in this issue.

> Did you receive any reaction?

No. And I don't expect any reaction soon because this bug is classified as "wishlist". So it is considered as lowest priority.

> What is the problem with?

As always, it is a shortage of man power and other ressources. I assume that you are not a programmer. Therefore, you could strengthen your current effort to promote free software in your personal milieu. Or by starting (or continuing) to teach young people the usage and nature of free software. In the long run this is one of the most efficient ways to get this issue fixed. With what kind of further engagement would you feel most comfortable?
