Whenever I want to see a web page source, Konqueror gives something like: Invalid file /tmp/kde-root/konquerorN19138.html: Key file contains line '<html><head><title>www.domain.com</title></head>' which is not a key-value pair, group, or comment if I try to open the simplest web page. On a more complicated one, which has JS in it as well, the error looks like: Invalid file /tmp/kde-root/konquerorC19138.html: Key file does not start with a group All of /tmp/kde-root/xxxyyyzzz.html files are created and have the proper HTML source in them, but Konqueror can't open them. I tried fiddling file associations to havet hem opened in Kate, Kwrite or anything else, but it does not change the situation - as if the Konqueror does not even send the html files to the associated application after it creates them. And yes, I am working as root, but even if I'm working as a regular user, same thing happens. File permissions are OK, 600, and the owner is the one starting the Konqueror. The OS is Fedora 23, i386, updated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open some web page 2. open document source (Ctrl+U) Actual Results: Error dialog with described errors show with only OK button. Expected Results: Should open default html editor or something normal... This is going on for a long time now, at least from KDE 4.0.x, but with different errors - before it complained that it can't open the created html file with the source or some other weird error - I can't take it any longer, that's why I'm reporting the bug.
