It's not possible to set the screen scaling to less than 100%. The slider starts at 1 (100%). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open System Settings 2. Go to "Display and Monitor" 3. Click on "Scale Display" in the "Display Configuration" section Actual Results: The slider doesn't go below 1 (100%) Expected Results: The slider should let you scale below 100%
Why?
I think this is mostly visual in nature since it's (reading from your reddit post OP) more about making the widget parts smaller. You should in my opinion pick a slimmer widget theme (check out the different Qtcurve themes available) and make your fonts smaller. Enforcing a downwards resize seems like a hassle in comparison to the gain when workarounds are available.
Please explain why you think this is required. What is the use case this is going to solve?
