Description Unknown 2016-03-16 16:31:16 UTC
I noticed that when selecting multiple clips in the timeline, I instinctively use the Shift+Left Click guestures to try and select multiple clips, because that's the standard for selecting multiple items with many - dare I say most - programs. However, Ctrl+Left Click is what's needed to select multiple clips. This might be confusing to new users who use other programs that use Shift instead of Ctrl for multiple item selection.

Can I suggest that it be changed to Shift+Left Click to select multiple clips in timeline?

Reproducible: Always

Suggested while using the latest Kdenlive git build from Kubuntu-ci/unstable ppa.

the shift + left click (and drag) is used to box select multiple clips while the ctrl + left click lets you cherry pick the ones you want. it makes sense. closing this. thanks for your help.
