In Advanced Color Selector, changing Minimal Shade Selector setting to color patches makes Krita unresponsive. If a user is already using "color patches" in a previous pre-alpha, pre-alpha 3 will not start. (user needs to reset preference, or change the setting using a previous build to test pre-alpha 3) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open some document 2. Click on Advanced Color Selector settings 3. In Shade Selector tab, set the Type to minimal, and change Minimal Shade Selector display to Color Patches from Gradient Actual Results: Krita becomes unresponsive. Expected Results: Minimal Shade Selector display changes to color patches. This happens in pre-alpha3. Windows10. This does not happen in 2.9.11 and pre-alpha 2.
may have been fixed by this: https://phabricator.kde.org/rKRITAde0d43d234a5c497f9001d6616e1d48597da2d98 Which was the first commit after the last appimage commit...
Yesterday night, Smjert uploaded krita3-prealpha3-de0d43d.zip which has that commit. Is that the zip file you tested? The appimages and dmg's were also updated, this morning.
This happens with krita3-prealpha3-de0d43d(Win&OSX). This does not repro on a slightly older build, krita3-prealpha3-d443622(Win).
Confirmed here by me and ragukamath. Probably something odd going on with nataly's patches.
nataly has fixed this in master
