When the fall apart effect is enabled, it also is used when the task switcher disappears after use. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable fall apart effect 2. Use task switcher such that its overlay is shown 3. Select a window Actual Results: Fall apart effect is applied to the switcher. Expected Results: The effect should probably not be applied since a user will not expect it and be distracted.

Could you please explain why the fall apart effect should not be applied to the tabbox? After all it's a close window animation and the tabbox is a window. I fail to see why it should not be applied. What is so special about it that it needs a different behavior?
To me it felt out-of-place, as the task switcher is used frequently. Also I don't perceive it as a normal window, e.g. because it has no decorations and is not created by a user-program.
The Alt+Tab window is in general affected by the effects as any other window as well. E.g. the default switcher uses the sliding popups effect and that's wanted like that. For the other modes we want to have the default fade in/out effect as well. So this renders this a special case for fallapart. As special casing is difficult I have to say no to this request.
