Kate doesn't open text file with click. I have to open Kate first and then open document or drug and drop.
Actually it opened one file but then it couldn't open anymore. 

Actually Kate wasn't installed by default with the rest of Plasma 5.6.90. I installed it manually. 


KDE Neon on Kubuntu 15.10 unstable, Plasma 5.6.90

Kate is not part of Plasma, but Applications. We presently do not build applications, so that issue probably should be directed at Kubuntu instead.
