trash

It would be nice to have also an expanded view with the listed trash files like in the folder widget grouped by time.

This view could than be used for the desktop widget view or in an sidebar.

We could potentially add support for trash (empty it, show status) to folder view and then drop the trash applet?
Comment 2 andreas 2016-03-10 22:59:18 UTC
that could be the easier way. or you use the code from folder view and add the settings to the delete widget.

That would mean that users would have to configure their own trash applet, though. A trash applet is common enough to warrant being as easy to put somewhere as possible.
It could just be a preconfigured folderview, of course.

Yeah, we could install a second .desktop that uses the FolderView package and parameterize it that way. This is similar to how e.g. the Pager and Activity Pager or Kicker and Dashboard get served from the same plasmoid package but with different Widget Explorer entries and different resulting behavior.
